Why

Give a modern pool club a sharp, recognisable mark that could connect brand identity with the physical venue.

What

An approved logo delivered as final logo files and print-ready artwork.

How

The letter D and number 8 were interlocked, then refined through a controlled geometric grid and shared curves.

Two characters. One unmistakable cue.

The identity combines the venue's initial with the visual memory of an 8-ball. Neither element is added as decoration. Both are built into the same compact silhouette.

Letter D
The initial gives the mark its outer structure and keeps the venue name present at a glance.
Number 8
The paired counters reference the recognisable 8-ball without relying on a separate illustration.
Balanced curves
Measured radii and shared tangencies keep the combined form compact across print and signage.

Built on controlled geometry.

Construction studies test the relationship between the D, the inner 8 and the surrounding negative space.

KOA Architecture developed the interior direction shown in these renders. The logo was approved in 2023, and the venue was later constructed.
